I have many many roughriders... but I don't want to use them until painted! However, I like the idea of a roughrider heavy list, or even a full roughrider force for a scenario etc

Anyone look at developing a IG roughrider list? I have a VERY big interest anything Savlar Chemdog so much as to putty little backpacks on all of my little guardsmen. I have a big interest in a Savlar Chemriders list. Anyone out there do anything liek that? farseer |

I like the idea of a Rough Rider Regiment - using the existing RR Dets, maybe some HW RRs (dismount to form a standard IG HW Plt) and a RR Command Unit. Ive done the Colonel figure already - a standard Colonel torso brandishing a power sword mounted onto an old RR fig - and he looks quite the Cossack!

Maybe we should start by defining a Rough Rider Company? Let's say it should be made of one I.G. Command Unit (on foot, so no one should have to depend on conversions), a Chimera transport and twelve RR. It should cost 350/400 points. Whsy do you think?

I think a Company group should all be similary mounted on horses. That way they have identical logistics needs. (ie fodder, no fuel). |

Here's my attempt at RR officers. Not entirely satisfied but they were made about 10 years ago. I'll have to reposition the sword arms sometime. |
