Version 1.05 Updates

Furious charge rule added.
Blitzkrieg rule added.
Dragoon upgrade changed to 1-4 for 25 points each for the core formations.
Retinue changed to 0-1
Retinue dropped 25 points to 350 points.
Marauder Destroyers dropped 25 points to 225 points
Removed Salamander Command upgrades (Conqueror upgrade now confers Blitzkrieg to formation)
Removed Heavy Dragoons

Not sure what’s happening, others don’t seem to be having the problem. Are you able to try on another device?

What's a Dragoon here, still a 'mounted infantryman'? Walker was throwing a little there, but is that to for dismounted travel across rough terrain?

Walker means able to traverse dangerous terrain better, not literal legs

The Dragoons are mounted infantry who will fight either mounted or dismounted in loose order. It’s envisioned they’d dismount to find a good firing position and snipe with their rifles. As experienced frontiersmen it seemed appropriate to give them Walker.

I do need to do some background flavour writing, it’ll make things like this a little more clear!

RugII's reply does fit what I was thinking, but wasn't sure if they were also something almost akin to the new Admech cav (and a step up above the bioengineered Death Rider mounts) - the elite having upgraded their mounts, or replacing them with something mechanical that can keep up.

'Walker' is a rule, but it's also an archetype. 41st Millennium is a big place and if cyborg cavalry was going to be anywhere, this is the list...

Thinking about using this as a 'counts as' anyway as Tank Khans. Kind of regiment that is recruited from a feudal style world but rather than just used as cavalry or horse archers, they're after a regiment with that kind of tactical and strategic thinking that can then be outfitted for the 41st Millennium as a mobile raiding regiment with tanks and mechanised infantry. Whilst also obviously keeping the horses, as that's part of the officer classes status and very useful as outriders, scouts and support that can keep up.

Hi, does anybody have a copy of the newest Attilan list? If not, could someone explain what the "Furious charge" and the "Blitzkrieg" rules are?

SPECIAL RULE: FURIOUS CHARGE
Imperial Guard formations containing a unit with the Furious Charge ability receive a +1 modifier to their action test roll when attempting an engage action.
SPECIAL RULE: BLITZKRIEG
Imperial Guard formations containing a unit with the Blitzkrieg ability receive a +1 modifier to their action test roll when attempting a double action.

They’re both command and control buffs to enhance the Attilans mobility and engagement aggression over regular guard.
