The list isn't based of any GW fluff. It's main goal was to try and produce an 'Air mobile' style force to EA.
As Tiny Tim said if you play the list with Ride of the Valkyries in your mind you won't go far wrong... win games may be another matter

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has links/info/etc. on the background of the Epic UK Vanaheim Air Cavalry Imperial Guard or if they know that it's a fanmade background. If it is fanmade are there links to the fan fluff on it? Googling the name in relation to epic or wh40k only turns up the EUK army list so there doesn't seem to be a 40k Wiki entry on them either. |

I was looking at this earlier today actually.... according to lexicanum Vanaheim is a forge world.... not much else.... is there no explanation at the end of the EUK codex? |

No fluff or guidance on where they took inspiration from in building it. Just that they wanted a light mobile force with no ground AA. |
