Hello Ice Warrior Fans!
A list representing this proud regiment was long overdue, and I hope this first version will happily start to fill that gap.
It is an infantry based faithful army, with heavy artillery and armoured support. It is however not as well equipped than the Steel Legion for example, and therefore does not have access to some of the weaponry of that Regiment. It compensates with its faith (led by command-squad integrated priests) and more flexibility in using the Equipment it does have.
The Faith rule is the same as the developed by Zombocom for his Sisters of Battle, which I reproduce here:
Before rolling to activate, formations containing at least one unit with the Faithful special rule may declare that they are performing an Act of Faith. Formations performing an Act of Faith have a -1 penalty to their initiative for their action test, but if the activation is passed all Faithful units in the formation receive the Fearless and Invulnerable Save rules until the formation’s next activation.
If the activation is failed, the formation must take a hold action as normal, and no bonuses are received.
