Pretty pictures here: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/C ... SPORT.html Fluff: Quote: This immense armoured carrier is named after one of Lord Solar Macharius’ greatest generals, Borgen Crassus, who remained steadfastly loyal to the Imperium throughout the grim and bloody Macharian Heresy that followed the Lord Solar’s death. The vehicle can be retrofitted with additional weapons to fulfil other battlefield roles as required, and thousands of these vast transports were drafted into the 6th Cadian Armoured’s ranks during the fighting on Betalis III. Rules: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Downloads/P ... rassus.pdf Proposed Epic stats: Imerial Guard Crassus Armoured Assault Transport Type Speed Armour CloseCombat Firefight War Engine 15cm 4+ 6+ 5+ Weapon Range Firepower Notes 4 x Heavy Bolter 30cm AP5+ - Damage Capacity 2. Ogryns take up two transport spaces each). |

Basically it is a Gorgon "Light". |

E&C suggested it could have move 25cm, though this will be best determined once we get the new IA book and can see what speeds the vehicle can move. Bumping up the capacity to 7 could be a possible option too, as then two could carry an IG company, without needing any extra vehicles and 3 of them for a company would probably be prohibitively expensive. |

It would have the same speed as any other sper-heavy vehicle. Thats 6" a turn which translates to 15cm in Epic. Note that the Gorgon is as fast as the Crassus too. I have no problem with a transport capacity of 7 units ![]() |

The epic gorgon was increased to 20cm because there's basically no point in 15cm transport. I also recommend sticking to 6 transport capacity and simply having 12 unit formations in any list this is put into. |

I meant the max on and off roads speed listed in the technical specs for the vehicle, which can guide appropriate speed for it, not the standard movement in the rules. 25cm seems a bit fast but it should at least be 20cm like the Gorgon. If it's to be added to the Cadian list I guess it could be up to the Cadian AC to have it 6 capacity or 12 strong units. |

If it is added to the Cadian list, it would displace the Stormlord, and cause considerable rearrangement of unit sizes. While I'm not catagorically against this, I'd like to wait for IA11 to come out and see the background first. |

Nor is there one for the Stormlord, though I'm told that's temporary... |

In my circles they're nicknamed "death tractors" because staying inside them is suicide. |

Have you tried it? For my Space Marines it is rare that i NOT let them stay inside their transports unless faced with air-assaults or MW/TK shots. |

Space marines are very different; they get a 4+ save if the transport is killed. If a full Gorgon is destroyed that's probably 10 dead troops too. Not to mention that it becomes a target for every MW and TK on the board. |

IG Infantry will get a 6+ cover save. Not much but better than nothing. |
