So, Exist an experimental, and unofficial Army list where is, with datasheet, the old OOP model: Capitol Imperial? Here, a siege game played this winter. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2047951&id=1406120444&l=e9b13263b6 Thanks very much! Captìn Uruk Frank. ![]() |

Hello, I've found in this thread a prototype of cadian shoock troops. here the Resource: http://www.taccmd.tacticalwargames.net/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=7763 and, I've create (or paginate) the following army list, apporting no change into the contenents. I will be glad to have your comments about. I think that the most flavour piece is obviously the Capitol Imperial; so an army list, like the ork OGBM, where exist the big krauler; an imperial army list that re-introduce the use of the Capitol Imperial as break defence strategy force. I think that will be very beautyfull to use in a siege scenario. Here, the pdf: http://www.caputofrancesco.com/download/Cadian_Shock_Troops.pdf I will test it with the standard and official army list; reporting the battlereports here in this thread for see if is balanced. Thanks Warlords. |

I'd have liked the Capitol Imperialis to be included in the AMTL list personally, and even possibly in a guard list. There were stats for it officially proposed back in the development stage of E:A, Jervis was quite enthusiastic about it, and the model was to be redone. Then all new models got cancelled (barring the eldar models already in the work at that time for swordwind), and it was decided that no unit without available model would make it to the list... Quite funny actually, when you think about the number of unit that don't have any model available now... There was also a large dropship planned for the imperial guard at that time (was called the colossus). I don't remember the CI stat line by memory, but I still have the very old IG list stored somewhere on my HDD at home, I'll try to dig' em out for you if you're interested. It's quite possible that this old statline has been altered significantly since then if it has been included in one or several experimental lists since then. Edit : I have just looked at the previously quoted list, and that CI looks quite alike the originaly proposed one, although I'm not sure it's FF was that good, specially as I seem to remember that at least at one point, the transported infantry was able to participate in FF as well in case of assaults, and with 10DC, the FF had to be lowered to retain some semblance of balance. |

There are a number of army lists that include the CI or something similar - Leviathan (and variants), the Sisters of Battle Basilica, the fortress (Obsidian Fortress?) in the Witch Hunters list. |
