The unit descriptions for thudd guns and rapiers in the Baran list state the models can be transported by Bruennhildes, but the actual list doesn't account for them. Is this an oversight? I would imagine transports assigned to other units (artillery) would be required to stay with their parent units, rather than being able to flit around, moving other units.

Keep in mind unit descriptions exist independently of the Tournament Army List. For things like scenarios and the like.

That's fine, but the option is missing in Swordwind as well. I was wondering if this was oversight or intentional. I did notice Kreig gets free Centaurs to tow their support weapons.

it's intentional in all cases, the Baran Siegemasters Army List does not allow for units with thudd guns and rapiers to take Brunnhilde transporters.

The unit description for the transporters allows them to transport them, because it's entirely feasible for a custom scenario to contain an independent battery of transported rapier destroyers, for instance.

Krieg have access to Centaurs for their support weapons because they represent a siege regiment on the offensive, whereas Baran represents a defensive regiment.

There are a few armies who's transports have the option to carry troops that the original tournament lists don't allow, offhand I can think of chimera's/stormtroopers and land raider's/tacticals and scouts.

As Signal has pointed out this isn't an oversight, if transports could carry certain units that individual tournament lists didn't allow they where left on the unit data sheets for future tournament lists as well as players own scenarios.

It's not a problem, but I'm used to a ruleset where if the unit description states something, and the army list doesn't show that option, I start to wonder if there was an error somewhere.
