Exactly. Whenever have used spacecraft I find that I have guessed wronglt where my opponent will set up his static units and so shot is wasted.

But also pinpoint attack (á la Gaunt).
Pin-point Attack - MW2+, TK (D3)
Ie 150 points to have a fairly good chance at a titan.

I like the Cruiser for the "anywhere on the board" pin-point attack... good against most armies and nothing can hide from it... though missing a War Engine in cover really sucks... *laugh*

The lack of planetfalling options makes the ships a rarely used option.

Hm... DRM Pax Arcadia Dropship with E/W Guild Orbital Deployment Pods. Probably with E/W Guild Myrmidon Company... What did you say Jim, gotta go get a towel?  :tongue:

Not at all Erik. I only talk sleaze on my Slaanesh site... ...well... anyway, the mention of starship troopers (Aliens - Colonial Marines too) for IG has always triggered my fevered imagination. I think it should be allowed and would slot in well in the current fluff with few changes if any*. Space Marines can't always be available, can they?

* EDIT: Fluff wise anyway.

Nope, and there's Det.99 from Elysia that featured in IA4: Anphelion, which is very similar to what you're talking about.

What happened to the Air Cav that someone was working on (on the old site)?  I think it was Catachans or Elysians, based on US troops in Vietnam.
