If anyone has something fitting the bill or could do it and playtest it, it wouldb e nice to have something for the guard that isn't entrenched, mechanised or armoured. In other words an infantry regiment! Plenty of weapon platforms out there for it, infantry is abundant and so on. Or is there a list in existence already matching this? |

Umm... Death Korps of Krieg minus the trenches perhabs? Else: The Valhallans and Mordians are renowned for being a mud jumper regiment iirc. At leastthey have Close Order Drills inWh40k. Tallarns and Savlar Chem-Dogs would be an option too, because they are Light Infantry. |

Elysian drop troops are probably closest. No transports apart from valkeries and no tanks at all. |

Tanith First and Only. Pure infantry, not even a single vehicle fluff-wise (though they are usually backed up by another regiment w/vehicles) |

Tanith have a list made by Jonluke, it's overpowered ATM though. I've thought that a Tallarn Light Infantry regiment could be good. |

Those are all good choices Boyz ! Well if you really want to get technical ... at one time, Light Infantry had very few vehicles, and less heavy weapons, and in some cases less troops. ?Where Infantry, were transported by trucks organic to the Bn or Rgt and had more heavy weapons. Of course no heavy vehicles or AFVs what so ever. For the most part( even if the 82d ABN have light amph airborne assault vehicles - M551 Sheridans!) ? So at one point there was Light Infantry, Infantry and Mech Infantry. ? ![]() |

Siegers or simply the Steel legion list from rulebook with plenty of Infantry companies. Should really give you a decent playground without doing a new list. |
