After long cogitations and deliberations, I have set out a new pricing structure for the Minervan Tank Legion army list.

Version 1.7

1.7 changes:

Changed the poinst cost system for the Leman Russ tanks.
Added more (All) flavour texts.
Stormhammer given new stats
Deleted all pictures
Reverted to original Demolisher Cannon stat.

I would like to put out a call for unit pictures so that the list can be handed off for Raiders ASAP.

I think the language is clearer in my version (Or at least more in-tune with how the list works... in this list you don't replace any variants like with the Steel Legion list, you select them), but thanks for the thought Hena, and I will look at restructuring the sentence.

How about:

'Ten Leman Russ variants (0-2 of which many be rare Leman Russ variants)'

Stormsword Fluff: whist - meant to whilst.
- thanks for the Volpone mention.

My thoughts on the Super Heavy variants hold, I think they are worth more than the basic Baneblades or shadowswords because of the way you can use them.
Will play more games, liking the list.

Jon

Thanks for the typo catch!

Balance can be sorted, but typos are important! :D

uh, makes the 6 Conqueror Squadron 40pts more expensive..... and the Tank destroyer even more....

else the pricing system seems fine, at least to me :;):

Yup, the price of all Leman Russ has been nudged up slightly, due to the new pricing structure.

I believe they were slightly underpriced before.

Hey E&C, just wanted to chip in that I really like the the new pricing structure, straight away feels much easier to grasp.

On a bit of a non sequitur, has there ever been a superheavy flamer tank?  Something carrying the equivalent of an inferno gun?  It was a nice idea mentioned in the Warseer Treadhead thread..

E&C, we have pictures for the Minervans.  Warmaster Nice sent them (rar file, remember?)  I have no idea how to open a rar file but I know we have them at least.

I bring this same comment up on any alt-Imperial Guard lists: If they're not fighting on Armageddon, why do they suffer the same "small Thunderbolt squadron" restriction the Steel Legion has?

I always like to ask. ? :D

WinRAR opens them, .rar files are a variant compression file, like .zip... but different.

Also, you could save some place in the Army List by replacing all of the "or"s with commas, save the last in each entry.

I had thought that that would be a perfect Ordinatus Minoris with Inferno Gun. :D

I must have lost it, heh!

Rar files can be opened with most 'zip' programs, or failing that, 'winrar' :)

why do they suffer the same "small Thunderbolt squadron" restriction the Steel Legion has?

Because the Steel Legion isn't really an Armageddon-specific army list, it's a 'generic' IG list that pretends to be Steel Legion-specific, but really isn't. :D
