I still haven't given up my dream of making Armageddon pattern Medusae.

Or do the Minervans use the open-top version?

Minervans would very likely use closed-topped Medusae where possible, as they mostly use Armageddon Pattern equipment.

So now the Medusa is a very fragile LR Demolisher with IgnoreCover and without PlasmaCannons?

Uh huh.

S'cheaper. :D

It could probably do better with a 25cm move come to think of it, or maybe a slightly decreased cost.

Well essentially it's a Basilisk with a "BunkerBuster" cannon :D So stats should be the same except for the main weapon.

In my True Armagedon list i have still the stats we worked out togehter some time ago :) But i had never a chance to play this list yet :(

It's worth noting that only the static Medusas appear to be able to gain the Indirect upgrade in 40k. Mobile Medusas only have direct-fire assault guns.

That's why I removed the indirect option for the gun.

Yeah that's what I thought.

I don't know whether to allow the indirect fire mode or not for the mobile gun.

The 40k rules don't allow it, but then again the mobile Medusa's stats havn't been updated in a few years, whilst the static medusa was released this year.

What'cha reckon guys?

The IA book with the Taros campaign has an updated Medusa (it's the Armageddon pattern) with the same upgrade for indirect fire than the Basilisk.

*grabs IA:3 off the shelf*

The Medusa is in there, but it doesn't have the option to upgrade to indirect status.

IA:5 has the static Medusa which can upgrade to fire indirect.

*grabs it too* *grabs IA Update 2006* Hmm you're right. Strange... i could swear....

So the MedusaSiegeGun IS a DemolisherCannon with SiegeShells. The stats are identical.
I will change it in my TrueArmnagedonSteelLegion armylist.

Latest Version:

Version 1.6

Hi E&C

Tried to open this latest version but still get the same error message.

It must be my PC or software version. I have MS Word as part of Office XP professional. What version of Word are you using?

Having previously read your early draft Krieg list I would love to see how you have updated it and what you have done with Armoured list.

Have you a word/PDF document you can e-mail?

Thanks

James

The file E&C posted is a .pdf... it *can't* be opened in MS Word... you need Adobe Reader at the least to view it.

The PDF works fine.

I like the new fluff text.

To be honest the new Minervan list has not changed a single point value for the units I use in my list. Just got more powerful because of the demolisher cannon updates. :) So my comments to the list will stay the same as for the 1.5 Version

cheerio
