I have a slightly archaic writing style due to reading too much Jules Verne et al when I was a kid. :)

Check your email for more artwork donated to the DKoK.  It is amazing how far a little begging will take you. :;):

Anyone who wants to submit artwork to replace my quicky sketches / add in as extra pieces is welcome to do so.

If anyone wants to help out, I'm currently looking for:

- Photos of your own DK / Siege infantry models. (Plain colour background please).

- Random submissions!

This project is now entering its final few weeks, and I'll be uploading a final version soon.

Do you need more artwork?  I sent you a few from various artists (remind me to email them the link to your work when you finish it).

This is the first time I've looked at any of the Krieg stuff in a long time.  That's a lot of nice work.  The only suggestions I have are relatively minor.

Delete the snarky commentary in the intro.  I'm sure most of us on here know it's lighthearted, but that's because we interact with you.

I didn't do a detailed review for things that looked like they might be balance issues but there are a few unit/army list things that could change stylistically.

1)  I'd put the Rough Riders "Scout" ability note in the army list.  It's based on where the units fall in the force org, so it should be noted there.

2)  I'm not sure what to suggest regarding the Demolisher cannon stats but I'm putting them at MW4+ in the review and Mark has them like that in his rulebook.

3)  The second and third bullet in the Mossinian special rules aren't rules.  They are more design notes.  I'm assuming the RegHQ is supposed to mirror the HQ-as-BTS goal from the Siegemasters, but it doesn't say that.

4)  I'm not sure why different missile silo stats are needed.  It seems like it will only introduce potential confusion.

Awwww.

I agree, I may have gone too far with the comment about the Swordwind lists. :)

1 - Agreed.
2 - Agreed, I was waiting for consensus elsewhere first before adopting the stats.
3 - IIRC the names are the same as the ones in the Swordwind book (And it tells you to go find the rules in Swordwind, with the exception that the Commissars rule is modified to 1 per 500pts).
4 - I admit I was just messing around with finding two similar unit types, both of which are balanced yet provide different means of operation. I think I'll keep the slow firing version.

Note that until a consensus is reached I'm removing the discount for buying attack bikes from the White Scars list (The other price changes are I believe supported, correct me if I'm wrong). It is mostly compied directly from the latest White Scars list found on this forum, with some small nomeclature changes.

E&C, you gave the various Russ tanks the same points breakdown as on the Minervan Armored list.  Was this intentional?  It seems Krieg should be slightly more expensive than the Minervans given the focus on the list, but maybe there is some good explanation for it.

3)  Ah.  I missed the name map-over.  As noted, IG are probably my weakest knowledge base.

I think the WS stuff looks good.  I like your approach to the Terminators better than the mods I wrote up, so I will adapt them (excepting the drop pods - for now).

All I can say is that the Death Korps tanks appear to be balanced at these points.

The minervans may require a discount after testing, but it would be lovely if both lists prove balanced with the same points costs.

I've playtested the Death Korps list about 30 times now, through the various iterations of the list. (I'd love to have some more feedback from other groups though).

Yeah more artwork would be cool.

My Grenedier sketch is especially lame. :D
