Look, the worst thing that one can do is try to put every small rule that exists in 40k to epic.

Hey, it was just a random thought, no need to get yippity.

Thanks for the Intell again, E&C ! But it's good to know that there is a reasonable chance of a number of DoK pieces coming out. ?Also I'm using Modified SM1 MTO&Es +, for most of my Epic forces ... So it's interesting to see what direction you guys are going. Even though mine are not on the same system ... :)

In other Forgeworld news, they're undertaking a warehouse stock-check next week...

That's not all that interesting though is it... :D

Incidentally I'm really interested in knowing whether there have ever been any other Death Korps armylists in previous editions of Epic Legion4? Anyone?

Well who knows what they'll find laying around !  And I'm not sure if there ever was a an Epic DoK list.  As I said, I'm using modified SM1 IG TO&E/OOB ...

DoK was in an W/D or 2, 4-5 years ago, with other IG units, like the Elysians, Salvar Chem Dogs, etc., IIRC ... Showed some neat conversions.  F/W just jumped on them a year or two ago ... :)

Didn't FW made it up?

Nah, they actually appeared (As L4 says) in White Dwarf, as well as the Imperial Guard codex. They never had models until now however.

The Macharius, by quite some distance.

A Gorgon hull / Macharius is almost as long as a Baneblade (In the case of the Gorgon, the disembarkation ramp actually makes it longer), but it's not as wide.

Despite being based on the same hull, the Gorgon is DC-3, while the Macharius is DC-2.

I assume that that's because of the greater ammount of armoured superstructre, and the armoured ramp, on the Gorgon.
