140L * 120 W * 100 H ;)

I think, you can lose one of the C&C floors - maybe have a small bridge on top of the main block (as per the art).
Also, the garage decks probably have only one 'high' ceiling workshop. They may even use the rising / lowering decks of modern car ferries.

Been looking for ferry stats to try and estimate the size required, but can't find anything small enough.

If it could carry 6 SHTs then you only have to line up 2 x 3 FW Baneblades and add a few mm all around for armourplatings to determine it's foot print :)

They could be on two floors, so only 1x3 foot print, (2 high)

I don't think it would carry the SHTs actually; In the past it was quoted as transporting Leman russes or infantry companies. while SHT are technically companies, I think SHTs are autonomous enough that they wouldn't need to get into another level of transport for anything but interplanetary travel. A Baneblade is already a 14 crew tank I think... However, the CI/Leviathan should be a huge thing, So it should probably be large enough to house 6 SHTs all the same. I'm not sure the ramps/doors would be large enough to allow their passage however.

A landing platform for a Valkyrie or other small lander on the top side seems mandatory however, as well as a large array of AA and anti infantry guns. And given the shape of the original CI, you can easily imagine it having a number of decks/floors. I Still quite like the look of the first Capitol Imperialis; I think it is about 3 times too small however, and that's conservative. The Legio Invictus Leviathan command center in Titanicus is said to be around 150m long I think. Sizes more associated with ships than Tanks.

A direct translation would make that 50cm in Epic scale. That would be the realm of a Large Building modelling project, scenario only stuff. I will probably aim for something smaller (although I like the idea of modelling the large, true-scale one as a terrain piece in game term), to be usable in game. Still 150mm long look like a minimum to be able to get what you should on it (landing platform, several hydra turrets, large loading bays, etc)

The CI is I think a lot easier.

I think 4 tanks and 26 stands is fine transport wise for the CI. Thats a couple of formations of infantry/horses/whatever with either vehicle attachments or a squadron of something in support.

Stats wise the DC8, 6 void shields is pretty well set and it isn't covered in guns.

The Levithan i think is trickier.

Have to agree with Rug here - anything this size is almost bound to be unique; dreamt up by some mad engineering genius (or modeller apparently :)).

If anything needs to have 'hand cranked' stats, surely it is these monstrosities. Reminds me rather of the titan builder sheet I developed. So you choose the structural size, weight of armour, size and number of guns, and the number of engines and this gives you an indication of the speed, resillience, and firepower, and the associated cost (ish). I am sure BL can provide the relevant stats, and you end up with your own scratch built Leviathan :)

I'm waiting for FW to design a Wh40k sized Leviathan so i have stats to convert :D

I approve of anything that is actually the army case too.

Ginger, could you send me the titan builder sheet?
I might have fun with this.

Someone's played too much Battletech. I approve.

Cool idea. I think when I finally start building my own CI, I think I will want it somewhere between 15 and 20cm long, quite high (overall proportions similar to the original model), with multiple turrets (hydras on top, mostly small guns elsewhere).

I'd like a 4 boogie engine, but I still didn't find a model with the appropriate proportions to pillage, so I may end with only the regular two tracks (because modelling 8 separate tracks from scratch is quite a daunting modelling perspective to me). If I could convince Ben or some aquatic mammal to make a boogie for me and the community at large, now, that would be a different story :)

Making a huge one to use as an army case would be great though, I don't know how to tackle this but I'll think about it :)

***** Beware this is addictive *****

So the principles are as follows (based on "the golden ratio" of structural size, engine power, and weight of all the various components)
- The structure supports the armour, engines and weapons/armour. The bigger the structure the more you can carry
- However there is a trade off between armour, engines weapons and armour
- The structure can carry up to 2x engines and 1x weapons point (ie bigger than 'bolter' size weapon)

Here is the spreadsheet showing various titans and how it works. Vary the numbers in the build column and 'build' your own titans.

Blacklegion: that first pic is a Sketchup model I built a few years ago. Nice to see it's doing the rounds.
Ps. It's also a bit rubbish, hence why not using it this time.

I like everything about the 2nd, except for the stupid hull mounted cannon. grr.
