I wish I could have gotten more art for you but all efforts to contact two different artists on deviantart.com went unanswered. :sigh: I'll try getting a hold of them again tonight.  Did you add more model pics and more to the modeling section?  I'd say those were the only things I felt could have been better.

Good work with the supliment here guys :)

I’m tempted to have a go at a Death Korps list (after a long break of not gaming) if I can get hold of models for it.

Just curious, is there a particular reason why you can’t take fire support squads in the Death Korps list? You can in W40k and FW do produce a range of models for them.

E&C,

I tried PMing you but your box is full.  Welcome back to the boards.  I have some good news for Mossino that I sent via zombocom to you, but wasn't sure if you got it.

Short version: Peter Laycock (Stugmeister) said he is giving you permission to use his Devastating Impact art piece.  He also volunteered to take a crack at the front cover artwork as well.  Peter knows what the dimensions need to be for the cover art so it makes it much easier right out of the starting blocks for him and for you.  I sent you the details of the correspondence on zombocom's PM.

I thought that might help things along for you.

No problem. In your absence I didn't know exactly what to have him do but I gave him a list of ideas (which I sent to your bro) and hoped one of the ideas would inspire him.  If you have anything specific in mind, however, you may want to contact him early into the creative process so he doesn't waste hours on something you're not keen on.  I must say though the Tormentor on the cover of Raiders was ALL his idea and it was a great one!

Yup, let me know as soon as!  :)

I'm chewing on the ideas at the mo before I put pen to tablet.

E&C,

What else do you need help with?  Do you need more modeling pictures?  Help with the layout?  Let us know and we'll hook you up as best possible.

Any possbility of including the tunneling team in Mossino? I dont have the Vraks 2 book yet (i know, i know :vo) so I dont know exactly how they function/attach in 40k but heres my thoughts:

Im thinking a penny sized round base 2-3 models to represent OR a standard infantry base.  Either with modelled drill team.

two ways to use them:
1. Tunnelers - just like the rules, but instead of "transporting", they can pick a fortification and "breaktrough" with a company/grenadier/infantry platoon.  In this case they are a 0-1 add-on/upgrade to the entry sort of like the way centaurs are but can only tunnel to a fortification (enemy only??).  Possibly destroying/breaching a section when arriving (must have modeled destroyed fort. marker).

OR

2. A 0-1 infantry unit/team with Scout and Infiltrate, attached to a company/grenadier/infantry platoon, that can destroy a section of fortication via a charge with a 4+ or something.  If they are successful against the fortification, then a breach is formed on that section (must have appropriate destroyed fort. marker).  If the assault fails, possibly have a bad effect for the unit they were an upgrade for.  Again as an upgrade that is removed once it is used.  If used it no longer counts towards company strength.  If killed before use, it counts where appropriate.

I think an upgrade for a company is a bit much, but I like the idea for an infantry platoon or best of all grenadiers. Seems fitting.

Any thoughts?

Sweet! If you want to pm me on the basics so I can model them, I can get htem in the pics I am taking.

Also, pics of the DKoK are coming along nicely.  I figured out how to use my camera last nigh (the right way anyways) and am going to reshoot some of the pics I took this weekend.  The manual focus lets me get some wonderful close ups.  For an entry level camera, its does quite well.

Whos doing Mossinians?
