Please note that this will be the last version of the list that I steward, I am handing over the list Championship to Moscovian, so that I can concentrate more on the AMTL army list(s).

Because the Steel Legion isn't really an Armageddon-specific army list, it's a 'generic' IG list that pretends to be Steel Legion-specific, but really isn't. :D

But the design rationale for the "two Thunderbolt squadron" was that, on Armageddon, the Imperials had lost a lot of aircraft early on.

"Properly equipped" Imperial armies should probably have 3- or 4- plane squadrons.

That is the funniest post EVER!!

Chroma, I think we'll leave it alone for now and possibly revisit it as a playtest option down the road. ?Or we can just write some fluff about how the Minervans tend to use fewer aircraft because they are an expeditionary force (fewer controlled runways or other such lies). ?Personally I think Raiders will suffer death by a thousand tweaks unless we just get the thing out SOON.

Back on the models topic, after looking through the existing model pics I have, I am still lacking the following:

Scout Command Vehicle
Thunderer
Deathstrike

If anyone has these models that they can photograph on a white background, please PM me or post here.

If no one gets in sooner I'll paint up my deathstrikes this weekend for you.

Is there a spercific colour scheme, or any thing goes?

Minervans fought on Armageddon so they might have become used to have small aircraft formations :D

Ragnarok, feel free to paint as you wish.  Desert, amphibious, jungle, industrial, whatever your heart desires.
-BL, your justification sounds great!  Chroma, there is your official answer. :p

woohoo, 1.7 is out, now i can officially start making my list and gathering models. the bulk of my force wont be bought until gamesday, but a good chunk of my arty and air support is already in route, i really like the bombard, so ill be running with loads of them.

excuse my newness, but why is the deathstrike a 0-1 choice?

The deathstrike is done nicely.  I think I'll just use that one shot on the left, actually.  One down, two to go.  Thanks, Hena.

Hey moscovian, if your looking for some general shots of imperial guard armour ive put some photos of my troops up here

They arent in a desert etting so may not be much use for the raiders supplement, but if theres anything you want feel free to steal :)
