Bombards are great for limiting your opponents forward overwatch garrisons.

If you have a rough idea where you want your Bombards to start,which you should(usually behind/in cover in your DZ) you place the 2 TnH objectives in sustain fire range of the Bombards.

Then your opponent has to then decide if it is worth risking placing his garrisons there.If he/she does then your Bombards have a decent target straight away,if he/she doesn't then you have kept an area safe for your troops to move into and severely limited your opponents forward deployment.

they are my prefered artillery. cool models tha i have heaps of:)
usually i only use one formation of three. works well.
