At least give the Exterminator FF 3+. With 2 HB 1 LC and twinlinked autocannon it can truly spit out a hell of shells and energy beams.

I'd second the Exterminator being added to the list.  I'm not sure I would give it AA though.  I'm sure a tank like that would be able to elevate its main guns but I don't think it would have the traverse rate to track enemy air craft.

It is actually lifted from an allied WWII tank - the name escapes me but it had a couple of 20mm? guns and was used for close in air defence.

In Epic terms I guess 30(45?)cm, AP4+/AT5+/AA6+

The TRC quote shows someone did his "homework" ... But if you notice, the WWII Germans invented combined arms warfare. And the rest of the world learned a hard lesson ... So within a year or two most everybody in the ETO, figured out that combined arms works.  So most Armor Divs were organized that way and even most Infantry Divs had a good amount of organic Armor support or had it attached to them.  But what Epic F/W has done is continue to use the WWII paradigm of having Light, Medium, Heavy and Super Heavy Tanks, Tank Destroyers, Assault Guns, Self-Propelled Guns, Siege Weapons Carriers, etc., etc. ... I've always felt Epic was a Hi-tech version of WWII, and G/W-F/W-S/G certainly plays right into this.  If for no other reasons than to sell models.  The WWII Germans were "masters" of making too many types of vehicles to do the same job - a mobile, armored weapons platform. And AFVs, are not defensive by design. Their mobility, protection and firepower make offensive actions their whole reason for their creation. Remember WWI ?  Now that is not to say, that AFVs cannot be used in the defense. A force only goes on the defensive, to buitd up enough assets to counterattack and go on the offensive. And the quote makes a good point about the Soviet Mech and Armor TO&Es ... Tank Divs normally didn't have AT Bns, but Infantry did ... the logic is obvious.  So I guess keep going Boyz, but IMO, all maneuver units (which means Tank and Infantry formations) use combined arms ... :)

Combined Arms comes automatically with that list. You take eighter Stormtroopers or Infantry Platoons to fill up ranks and activations.

Aye, I've ensured that 'blitzkrieg' tactics are available, if the player wants them (Vulture Gunships for air support, plus Infantry in Chimerae to take and hold ground)... but the core is going to be TANKS! :D

Glad to hear it ! So a Tank heavy Rgt, would be 2 Tank Bns and 1 Infantry Bn ... And a Mech Heavy Rgt just the opposite.
