True ... armored and mech units should have SP FA. However, those are not always available, based on WWII ... But I have the 3 F/W Platforms (and F/W SP FA as well) as Rgtl Spt dets. for one of my 6 IG Rgts, the 197th (the last Bde I served in). The Rgt consists of 1 AR Bn, 1 Mech Bn and a DoK Siege Bn ... But as always - DWWFY !

For the list I think SP FA is best. Platforms are great in a static/infantry list.
If a person wants to use the platforms in the army with trojans attached they can use 'count' as SP FA, since it most likely does not move during the game anyway.
Possibly have in another list stationary platforms that are not going to move (even with their trojans available, like the DoK list of massed infantry). If the Stationary platforms are going to be used make them stationary platforms from a rules standpoint.
