Hi folks, its been a while!

Since even before the pandemic, I was finding the number of games I was getting in was dropping off, then during the pandemic was basically the death-knell for my epic playing hobby, I've not played epic in almost 4 years.... After getting multiple lists through the approvals process, and becoming a world champion, I feel like I've reached a good point to hang up the tiny tiny Army Champion hat, and focus on the new game systems I've become involved in over the last few years

Lots has changed, I've got a teenager in the house, I got promoted to a new position at work, battled suicidal depression and ill health, my mum passed away from cancer, and I just finished a monumental two year battle to sell her house following her passing away.... Life fills up with stuff

I've still got my orks, those fellers will be buried with me, but I've mostly liquidated the rest of my collection

Thanks to all the people I've met, played with, argued about army lists with, thanks for the playtest games and collaborative spirit

I'll continue to admin the armyforge project, keep the pull requests coming, but I no longer have the time or inclination to write lists from scratch so you'll have to do that yourselves

So I'm signing off here,

"It's been emotional"

It sounds like a rollercoaster few years, and I totally understand how life can sometimes just pile on you. At these times, gaming is a luxury and family and real life should always be the priority. Thank you, for the work that you have put in. Take care, and I hope things pick up soon.

Cheers Si, it was a pleasure to face you across the table!

Don't sweat it, life has a habit of piling up on all of us - more kudos to you for getting through those dark moments mate.

If you ever feel like scratching the Epic itch again, you always know where we are, and you'd always be welcome :)

Cheers
Daz
