Please welcome the fearless and most excellent, Apoc as the new, hopefully permanent subAC for the Iron Hands list! His deconstructionist approach he wrote to me on the Iron Hands list and theme was nothing if not frankly awesome. Please let me be the first to welcome him to his new role and know that we're in excellent hands!

Thank you to the entire taccoms community and those that proffered their nominations. It was an excellent list of candidates to select from and a difficult choice to make.

That sounds like an approach that could be useful to other AC and Sub-ACs. Is it something that could be posted publicly?

I think jimmy is probably over stating it a bit. I don’t have it all as running text, so it would be rather awkward to present here.

But essentially I went through a process of:
Establishing a list of iconic points from the fluff (e.g. dreads, ad mech allies etc)
Identify ways in which current list preserved this fluff.
Identifying ways in which the list at present obscured these points (e.g. v1.0 structure actually made it harder to take warhounds than in codex marines).
Applying the key iconic points to the codex marine list, with reasoning for the core changes linked to the above two points for the (e.g. subtract terminators, add dreads) and going for simple solutions where possible.

fortunately with IH there did not appear to be any significant power/balance concerns (… yet) – it wasn't that build xyz needed nerfing because it steamrollered everything.
