Hey going through here to make sure that everything in the Titans are accounted for and add up correctly. Found a few discrepancies which I've corrected (Warlords in current AMTL were costed 25 points too cheap, arcs on Reaver not correct, warhounds critical).

However there's an issue with the Reaver=> I missed doing the surcharge for the Support Reaver variant.
SO vote time:

add the +25 surcharge for the 3x AML
OR
add one carapace weapon (please indicate type)

I'm voting 3 x AML, not sure we need to raise the points though. If it were a MW weapon we might need it but not barrage...

I'll vote AML even with the point increase :)

Actually it turns out the GB has a price/shot bump from the original so both versions equal just fine. I'm with you. Good as is.

So any progress on compiling the changes to the list yet? :)

I will be taking the Iron Hands for a spin tomorrow and try out some of the things we talked about.

Hey Jimmy, didn't notice that you uploaded the new list until now :)

The tread didn't pop out as "new" and there is still a little text saying the last edit was several years ago so I missed out.

Will be trying this in my next game.
(not to sure about the new special rule, feels a little bit complicated with more dice rolls, but lets try it before casting judgement ;) )

Yeah I didn't make much fanfare about it. This isn't really an important list at the moment or really at all; IH are a tier 2 list for EA IMHO so I just posted it and called it good. Once we go Developmental I'll lock this thread and we'll move into a new home :D I'm much more concerned about Space Wolves and Blood Angels considering both are basically done and really need to just get sent up for approval.

Not really sure how it's all that bad (but do give real life experience on that) as it's basically a slightly worse version of the existing Automata rule from the Ad Mech lists (a bunch of ATSKNF troops with full armour saves when broken seemed just wayyyyyy OTT for marines). I was figuring it's not too onerous but perhaps I am very deluded :D

I'm curious to see how you find it plays out. I'm spending more time on modeling now at the moment, getting settled into the new environments, and talking with a few people over back channels about some EA supplements (that and there's like no one within 300km that even plays) so this is definately on the back burner, so to speak.

I'd really need to get two good reports in first. One leveraging morlocks and an armour heavy list and the other some titans and dropped clans. The first should be reflecting the IH high intensity style of play, the second the hammer and anvil hard hitting approach. Ideally I'd see two separate groups on the above and then go talk to our illustrious leader.

I will volunteer for a couple of games if it helps? as long as there is nothing obviously bent as a nine-bob note in the list, I say get 5 or so playtests in from a few people then move to developmental if Dobbsy is keen, I'll try and rope Steve54 into my game for his vast experience in list development ;)

disclaimer: due to newborn baby in the house coupled with hyperactive 5 year old, family life at the moment is somewhat 'hectic' so epic is firmly off the menu at present, by the time I'm ready to actively play again, there is a fair chance the list will already have moved on without my input...

TL;DR don't wait up ;)
