They dubbed it the Roflcopter but i like the design :)

If the stats are true i propose:

Space Marine Storm Talon Gunship
Type Speed Armour CloseCombat Firefight

Twin Heavy Bolter 30cm AP4+/AA5+ Fixed Forward Arc

I agree with Ulrik and we have land speeders already. This just looks out of place and over-gunned.

So far all aircrafts look overgunned :D
It CAN act as Skimmer but then it would be immobile. So it IS a proper aircraft.

It's VERY dopey looking. And looks more akin to a heli gunship than a fighter to me. The fact that it's "supersonic" and has that huge bubble cockpit only compounds the stupidity of it. If they came out with something closer to the Storm Eagle I'd buy Interceptor, but not with that.

The thunderhawk gunship looks more akin to a brick than a plane. All of 40k is dopey looking, that's generally the point.

It also really does look like a helo/VTOL (C&C Orca anyone?). Hell, it looks like a GW kitbash to reuse as much of their existing parts as possible and keep it small enough to make a lot of sales.

I am glad to hear Space marines finally get an actual fighter though; considering their major shtick is independent operations involving planetary drops and air assaults, the fact they had nothing to provide escort for their air transports was asinine

You could either make it a formation of 1 plane for ~125pts, or drop the range on the guns.

~150pts if with the missile launcher attack.

Hardly looks to be a world beater.
