I think it's best we use the same for a starting list at least. No confusion across lists that way.

There's a clash in a couple of lists that have this vehicle. One list has 2 AVs mounted on a base = WE. What should it be? Opinions? My preference is to keep them AVs and have them as an upgrade transport. |

Without structure points I don't see why it should be a WE. It might be a big AV but so's the Land Raider and Monolith. |

Also, only one of those lists has see (lots of) testing, the one where it's an AV. EDIT: Actually, it may likely be that only one of those lists has been playtested at all. |

IIRC one of my lists uses the Caestus as a WE. There the Caestus unit isn't a singlemodel but a base with at least TWO Caestus modelson it to allow it to transport a formation on the table and fly away. Until the NetERC allows for a universalspecial ability for Independent Transports for Aircrafts ihave to stick with this. |

BL: Has your list seen any playtests? The Raven Guard list (with AV Caestus) has been playtested a lot. |

Not that i'm aware of. If you think that the Caestus as an AV Skimmer is more true to the background and better from a gaming percpective then switch it for the Raven Guard version. |

As mentioned, the Raven Guard list is well-regarded and well-playtested. |
