The original list had:

Assault: Commander
Tactical: Commander, Razorback
Terminator: Commander

The '08 Errata said



The problem with this is there are no Land Raider or Vindicator detachments in WS and the Predator formation already has the Hunter as an allowed upgrade. So it effectively does nothing.

I'd like to see Tacticals and Terminators get the Hunter upgrade mainly because I think the errata above was supposed to add the Hunter to both of them. Only Whirlwind and Predators have them currently so ground AA seems scarce.

I'd also like to see Assault, Tacticals and Terminators get the Vindicator upgrade as well, since they have them in the SM list and there's no Vindicator formation in the WS. Whirlwinds get them though... not sure that would be an overly effective formation...

The White Scar list is in Siege, however, without these. So that complicates things.

I think this thread was split out, but some of the responses were not.

I think the "add hunter" mod was a copy/paste error.

The WS were always light on Hunters. I'm not sure why, but Hena pointed out in a post that wasn't copied over, none of the infantry formations have armor upgrades of any kind.

Ya, I noticed after I posted.

The lack of Vindicators isn't overly bothersome, but the lack of Hunters (in Tacticals specifically) seems overly restrictive.
