Hi guys, I don't play much epic these days but i'm currently working on some models. I have a few questions about the current GW range if anyone can help me. Landspeeders, do these come with any weapon options, i've seen pictures of the new style landspeeder with missile pods on but the GW site doesn't mention them? Dreadnoughts, do you still get different versions of the model, i had some epic 40K era ones with multimeltas / assualt cannons etc but all the ones in the picture on the GW site are the same lascannon version. Terminators, are these just metal versions of the old plastic spure minatures or do they look any different up close. Sergents, i've been collecting minis from ebay for a few weeks but seem to have far more bolter marines than heavy weapons or sergents to make up squads, how do people base up their devastors, is it normal to just have 2x heavy and 3x bolters per stand and save the sergents for my tactical squads? |

Land speeders - each pack contains 3 Land Speeders (standard melta), 1 Land Speeder typhoon and 1 Land Speeder tornado, and also some random flamers. Terminators - same as plastic ones Dreadnoughts - each pack contains 2 of each type Marines - I do mine tacticals - 3 stands 5 SM, 3 stands 4 SM 1 Missile per company, devastators - all 3 SM 2 ML. Sergeants are pretty much up to you I put some with my BT but not my UM |

Seem to have worse mould lines (might just be my bad lack). And they have a little sticky out bit in the back cavity (some plastics had it flat, some had a slight indent, some had sticky out bit, all metals i have seem to stick out) |

Quote: Landspeeders, do these come with any weapon options, i've seen pictures of the new style landspeeder with missile pods on but the GW site doesn't mention them? Yes, each blister comes with enough bitz to make 4 multi melta speeders, and one of them can be a LS Tornado, and also one LS Typhooon. IIRC. Quote: Dreadnoughts, do you still get different versions of the model, i had some epic 40K era ones with multimeltas / assualt cannons etc but all the ones in the picture on the GW site are the same lascannon version. 3 different weapons configs come in the blister. Assault Cannon & Power Fist, Multi-Melta & Power fist, and Twin Lascannon & Missile Launcher. Wow wasn't expecting replies so quickly. Looks like i'll go for some land speeders and dreadnoughts, and stick with the ebayed plastics for the terminators. With the sergenats the way i've started it is tactical - one stand with a sergent and one with a heavy weapon. Devastor - both stands with 2 heavy and 3 bolter. I guess my real question is, is it ok to not have any sergents in the devastor squads or do most people stick one on one of the bases? |
