So to recap - what are the current Redemer proposed stats?

I have regular land raiders as AV, RA4+, TRA, 25cm, CC6+, FF4+, 2 45cm AT4+, 1 30cm AP4+, transport 2/1

Redeemer is identical to your stats but it gets CC5+ (because of the Frag Launchers) and switches it's complete armament for 1 x 30cm AP4+/AT4+ and 2 x 15cm AP3+ Ignore Cover.
Ideally would get Ignore Cover on it's basic FF attack (and Salamanders Terminators and Predator Incinerator too...basically all units with two Heavy Flamer, or bigger, weapons).

Ok so, going with the 75 point version as its neater :)

Land Raider Redeemer
Armoured Vehicle; Save 4+; Speed 25cm; CC5+; FF3+
Frag Launchers; (base contact); Assault Weapons
Twin assault cannon; 30cm; AT4+/AP4+
2 x Flamestorm cannon; Range 15cm; AP3+; Ignore Cover
Notes: Reinforced Armour, Thick Rear Armour, Transport (1 Terminator or 2 other)

Land Raider
Armoured Vehicle; Save 4+; Speed 25cm; CC6+; FF5+
2 x Twin Las Cannon; 45cm; AP4+; -
Twin Heavy Bolter; 30cm; AP4+
Notes: Reinforced Armour, Thick Rear Armour, Transport (1 Terminator or 2 other)

So the differences are

Land Raider Redeemer
CC5+; FF3+
Frag Launchers; (base contact); Assault Weapons
Twin assault cannon; 30cm; AT4+/AP4+
2 x Flamestorm cannon; Range 15cm; AP3+; Ignore Cover

Land Raider
CC6+; FF5+
2 x Twin Las Cannon; 45cm; AP4+; -
Twin Heavy Bolter; 30cm; AP4+

Its basically comparing attackability, if thats a word.

The CC is very minor. I'm not to fussed when I have one or maybe 2 in a formation that when I get jumped I hit back on a 5 not a 6. Yes its a boost, but its a minor one.

So it comes down to the attack profile. Obviously AT/IC pros and cons feature.
Double (outside 30), double, support (unlikely unless the target runs away)
Land Raider
8/6AT 2/6AP 2/6FF
Red
2/6AT 6/6APIC 4/6FF

Double (outside 30), advance, support
Land Raider
10/6AT 3/6AP 2/6FF

I guessed based on that they would be on par and come down to role, so perhaps I would expect normal raiders with devs and redeemers with tacs assuming an aggressive profile?

V1.12 uploaded in the first posting.

- Land Raider and Land Raider Redeemer now with NetEA stats and at 75pts each. Land Raider Prometheus remains at 85pts.
- No change to Predatior Incinerator and Supreme Commanders cost.
- Removed all the text which isn't pure army list and unit's datasheets.

Because it isn't the army list. It is thoughts, questions, etc = things which belongs in threads like this and which you don't need for a game :)

Uploaded V1.13 of the Salamanders Army List.
Only change to V1.12 is the Supreme Commanders points cost to +50pts which brings him in line with all other Space Marine army lists.

The 25 points thing was quite deliberate as a consequence of few activations in the army - the ground attack going it is simply essentially and it will nearly always be bm'ed - making the list need an SC more than other builds while having less to pay for it.

Well i don't think that this 25 points will cripple the army :)

With this said i only want to mention that the NetERC has approved the version 1.13 of the Salamanders ready for Turney games :)
Thank you all for your help, especially TRC who played a major part in developing this list together with me :)

That the Salamanders now have the status of NetERC Approved doesn't nessesarily mean that this list will be set in stone forever. But the time of stability and lack of changes in the last year/s has shown that there won't be much change in the future too unless some army wide change happens.

BTW: I would still LOVE to see some battlereports featuring Salamanders specific gear :D
