It would be good to see this finished before the new 40k BA codex comes out next year, otherwise I predict pressure from some quarters to change everthing to match GWs latest round of fluff alterations! And we'll be back to the drawing board!

I've been paiting up 1 of each of the BA stuff just in case you want it supplementized (?)!

That will happen either way :sleep:

I'll be happy to contribute models too (have a couple of WIP Baals right now though I caught a 40k bug again so I'm not as fast as I'd want to be). Those will of course be Flesh Tearers.

I think a good supplement would be Blood Angels/Flesh Tearers vs Tyranids vs some flavor of Eldar (Exodites? But those are barely started with). Call it Epic: Jungle or something related. I'm going to do a bunch of Planetary Empires tiles of Cretacia/generic jungle and lava deathworld too.

To use a Landing Craft as BTS you'd have to land it, right?

I think its a difference of opinion between tac-com regulars and UK tournie regulars. I really do think its an awesome unit, well worth the almost two thunderhawks it replaces, especially with the fearless/aircraft/losing assault errata/faq/whatever it is.

Surprised people use it as the BTS though, that's lists with terminators with chaplain/upgraded tacticals?

And its great with white scars - full termie formation with land raiders backed up with the 4 stands of your choice (in blood angels I would be tempted to use furso dreds and make sure they took as many hits as possible so they can die and not slow me down :) ).

With White Scars they are a hoot, admittably 1225 for terminators, land raiders, assault marines and two chaplains, but I don't think you can get the same punch with any other list, though Blood Angels can have something involving death company and 2 lots of scouts for cheapness, or something with more bite like tacticals, 1 extra vehicle and a dreadnough, black templars get to fill the odd space left when using bikes and tacs with a scout and any list can play with the oddity of 3 lots of assault marines with 6 vindicators.

Parking a Landing Craft on turn 3 on the opponents Blitz is a nice tactic to contest it and annoy him :D
