With all due respect but I´ve been following this thread for a couple of weeks now and can´t just somebody come in and put their foot down and say "this is what we are gonna go on - period!(for a couple of months at least). To me it doesn´t seem that the discussion for now is coming anywhere closer to a solution that everybody can agree upon. We need something to start with.

AoC could run a one-week poll with a couple weapon configuration choices, start testing with the popular vote and then we work from that. The discussion has definitely helped frame what those configuration choices will be so I'm happy that we carry on so (especially so when the back-and-forth is polite, focused and respectful). Besides - 6mm soldiering is serious business. :)

Good idea :). And of course the discussion has helped fram the configurations. But its time to get out of the lab and in to the field and test it in battle where it belongs. ;D

I think options are pretty limited really..... general murmur of consensus is that AA4+ and 3xAA shots are both power creep.... those limitations mean you can't model the exact weapons on the GW model which engages many fluffophile's nerdrage....

I say give it an AA-only weapon, an AA and AP/AT weapon, and an AT only weapon.... the AA/AP/AT weapon should be 15cm range

AOC,

I think the best way forward here is for an updated list to be posted and for us to get on with the business of testing your changes and additions and making commentary based on in game play. Ortron and Jimmy are not long off getting back from course and we will be back into the swing of play testing as we have completed our actions in support of Space Wolves 2.4.3.

If you do update the version can you post a priority list that you need tested to help the group focus efforts to assist with the development of the DA.

Looking forward to the next step.

I agree Cal, however how I'm thinking of updating the list is a major change. I would like to see some test of the DW and RW before I change the list in the way I had in mind.

It has been 34 days since there was ANY activity in this topic thread. Maybe I'm confused but I thought there was request to get this list moving and play-testing organized? I know people have lives and so do I. I can't even get to my miniatures right now. I'm just a little confused at all this silence.

In the last 4 months I have seen 1 (Again Thanks Speaker) Battle Report. I have updated the list to be re-posted and I was just waiting on some feedback before I posted what I thought would move the list in the right direction, but it seems that there no interest anymore?

Are there any Battle Reports that are pending to be written up? Or just not posted?

You're getting things backwards.

Don't wait for more comments/feedback before putting up your updated list. Put up your updated list and you will get more comments and feedback.

Also, even if you can't play in real life yourself you could always get some playtests in over Tabletop? Seeing you actively play and push the list could encourage others to get involved too.

Very few of the AC:s seems to have the time or even models to test their lists. That is really weird... Why would anyone take on the responsibility for s list if they can't even play the game?

I don't want/need commnets/feedback. I NEED playtesting! We don't need a updated list with flyers when I'm still asking for RW and DW testing. Battle reports should be able to happen at any time!

Well when I took responsibility I had more time to play. Nowadays I don't. The list holds a dear place in my heart, easy guess I think. Since there HAS NOT been any movement or interest in the list I have retain ACship. Recently there was interest, I picked up my duties and took time to shape the comments and ideas. I request playtesting and help was offered but again interest has waned.

Patience is required ... from everyone. It's not a race to the end.

The number of players interested in playtesting/batrepping is minimal to nil for almost all lists, no matter the popularity of any particular list.

It really goes without saying: If you want the list finished - help out and batrep it.

Otherwise your fave lists won't ever be completed as ACs can't even get their own lists finished on their own even if they played the full 18 games.

Kudos go to PFE100 and CAL's groups for getting their hands dirty on various Marine batreps.

AoC - Cal's group are afk for long periods due to military involvement.

As Matt said we are away at times. I have been gone for five weeks and the remainder of the group around six. I return on Thursday this week so we will reuse normal gaming next Wednesday and I sure DA are on the cards as Ortron is keen to get in there.

Totally understandable, life happens and Epic comes second or third or fourth etc.

I just noticed there seemed to be a void of activity and I wanted to remind people the list was still here. Things take time and people have lives. I just didn't want some random new person to come by and "Oi, AoC get off your a$$!" lol.

I'm thinking about the best way to sneak over to XM group to get a game in. Currently I have a special event for work till the end of the month. Even with my birthday this weekend. lol
