Uhmm right. I should pay more attention to the actual content of the army list :D
Still the proposal with the Plasma Cannon Tacticals stands.

Lookign at the Plasma Cannon the next heaviest thing in plasma technology would be the Executioners Plasma Cannon. Between this and the Plasma Cannon there is nothing. A Heavy Plasma Gun just doesn't exist in the Wh40k universe.
But if the NetERC would change the Plasma Cannon to AP5+/AT5+... ;)

There is a precedent for 30cm AP5+/AT5+ plasma weapons on the Leman Russ Demolisher (Minervan list).
PLEASE no Slow Firing on infantry stands.

There is?? But then a Plasma Cannon is exactly like an Assault Cannon. Which they aren't!

Missile Launchers and Autocannons are different weapons but they have the same stats in Epic :) .
This isn't something new and the most important thing is that the game remain playable.

Slow Firing on infantry stands is not a practical idea.

True but the stats and role of the Autocannon and Missile Launcher is VERY Similar. While the Assault Cannon and Plasma Cannon are not.

But I agree with the No Slow Fire

Plasma Cannon 30cm AP4+/AT6+ No Slow Fire

Or just MW6+...Meh

Call them Heavy Plasma Guns. That way there can be a distinction between HPGs and Plasma Cannons. It's not perfect, and it's a little anachronistic, but it's a lot easier than trying to get the Executioner changed.

I'd rather see a price drop than "generic" heavy weapons or even "variant" Tacticals for Scions... this is supposed to be the Marine "Armour List", so variant infantry really aren't needed.

Make the tanks better :) (Well, better, cheaper, cheaper upgrades etc - the cheaper upgrades seems to be a good thing with marines.)

Yaeh, since the Scions have access to a lot of tanks, including crews, spares and Tech-Marines, couldn't that be used to rationalize soem slightly cheaper tanks upgrades. Seing as it's the theme of the list, armour that is?
