Apparently, the HQ techmarine boss-man can also take a conversion beamer, which could possibly be a TK attack in this game (if it's the same as it was back in 2nd Ed 40k's Codex Imperialis).

Either way, if such a thing is even worth putting in the list, a techmarine could just be given the same stats as a librarian to represent the souped-up weapon he carries.

As for the tracked gun, they don't sound like they are deployable en masse, so they might not be worth having in the list. Another way to go is to let them be fielded as devastators. Maybe people will have a reason break out their ealy 90's metal rapier/tarantulas.

I still use the Librarian upgrade in Devastator Detachments as Techmarines with Servitor bodyguards.

The Land Raider Redeemer has leaked.

Comments say that the weapon armament is 2x Inferno Cannons (Hellhound guns) and a Twin-Assault Cannon. It also has the Land Raider Crusader's Frag Launchers.

That gives a vehicle that looks something like this in Epic:

Land Raider Redeemer.
Speed : 25cm
Armour : 4+
CC : 5+
FF : 3+
Weapons:
- 2x Inferno Cannon (AP3+, 30cm, Ignores Cover).
- Twin Assault Cannon (AP4+ / AT4+, 30cm)

Notes: Thick Rear Armour, Reinforced Armour.

Transport: Unknown (Let's assume the same as a standard Land Raider.

Just by stats, it looks to be worth perhaps 25pts over what a standard Land Raider or Land Raider Crusader is worth?

Land Raider Redeemer:

That machine surely has "arms race" written all over it.

Guess that?s a great way to sell another round of models to the 40k crowd.

Anyway, I?m looking forward to see epic-scale conversions of that monster soon and stats in some variant list.

Oh, and the pic shows a pintle mounted Bolt weapon, by all means include it!
:p

I think it would fit the Blood Angels too, what with their flamer-kitted Baal Predator.

Definately a great piece to go in varient lists, but leave it out of the main, official one.

I'd put it at about the same as the basic, possibly a bit more but definitely less than the LRC.

Thunderfire Cannon

The return of the thud gun?

There are also Sternguard Veterans in assault variant and with firearms rather than the usual vets with CCW.

Also a new plastic? (i think) scout biker pack

yes those are the new plastic scout bikers, and there are really cool!!!!

and i think it's a really good idea for the Redeemer to be the main land raider used in the Salamanders list.

The tracked gun is frankly awful!

Not unless you're into VSF - lots of conversion potential there :) :) )

Heh.  That's exactly what I thought - steampunk rather than 40K tech.

Really? Fair enough.

That makes it easy to incorporate into lists I suppose!
