There was a knock at the office door about 2 PM this afternoon. I opened the door, and looked outside, but no one was to be seen. I looked down, and there was a small brown package on the ground. What could it be? ![]() (bigger image) It's crack! No, it's worse! It's three Obelisk recons from Otterman, copied from my master sculpt! Sweeeeet. Group shot one, plus one with crystal: ![]() Negative, for more detail: ![]() (bigger image) Group shot with Necrons: ![]() (bigger image) I'm thinking on mounting them on standard flying stands, only hovering about 0.5 cm - 1 cm off the stand. Let me know what you think, and thanks for looking. Next up, I try my own hand at... ![]() |

The three-pronged thingy might be trouble. |

It may... I was thinking all the crevises in the Monolith would be more trouble. I may have to saw that puppy in half. |

I'm reeeeeeeeally hoping to get a recon cleaned, primed, painted and based this weekend. We're closing on our house on Thursday though, and doing some moving this weekend, so we'll see... Thanks for asking! |

I had to wait at the new house yesterday for the gas guy to come over and turn on the gass. I didn't get a full recon painted, but I did get enough for a Monolith escort ![]() The crystals still need a little work to show the facets better, but I'm happy with how they turned out. The Obelisks are attached to flying bases via rare earth magnets, so in case I drop one (which I have), the base falls apart (which it did) instead of completely breaking. ![]() (larger image) ![]() (larger image) ![]() (larger image) |
