Post subject:  Latest Necron list.
The latest necron list appears to be V4.1, yet the version in the vault is 3.2... is this due for a change any time soon?


Just wondering, since we've got an aspiring Necron player in our local Epic circle now, and was wondering what would be the 'proper' rule set for him to use at this point.

4.1 is the current list, the only changes I know of which need to go into v4.2 were that The Nightbringer will lose First Strike and Obelisks are supposed to have Scout. Those are the only ones I've heard about anyway.

There is a 4.1 Version, with some modifications.

Corey, the Obelisks also have a 4+ save, correct?  I noticed your little notes on the Necron list from the Stratford tournament. :)

Isn't that a bit too much? Scout and RA4+ and Teleport... they're getting more and more powerful while their price stays the same.

At 50 points each, they are a steal, not to mention that the Obelisk Recon formation is becoming more and more interesting.

Don't you think a points raise of some king would be in order? Since some people regard the Monolith as a bit too powerful, how about :

- Monolith > 100 points
- Obelisk > 75 points

Expansive, yes, but perhaps necessary. What do you think?
