Post subject:  Necron Wraiths
Hi, my Necron army is slowly taking shape. I've now finished my Phalanxes and Destroyers, and I've just started to do some heavy conversions for my Wraiths. Here's the result:





The components are:

- Tail: Tyranid Gargoyle
- Claws: Tyranid Hormagaunt
- Torso: Chaos Android (although an Ork boy torso would work just as well, I think)

The conversion itself is not that hard to do, if you don't my working on very small elements (bit of advice: use tweezers). Actually, the hardest part is... sacrificing those hard-to-get Tyranids! ?:p

Very interesting conversion and a very effective proxy.

Not having those pieces available, I was going to substitute the tail and claws with plastic card, but I wasn't sure what I'd do for the body, so thanx for the tip.

...and yes, modeling with "micro-bitz" is its own reward.   :/

Suggestion: If you can. take the pictures from a little further away and put the camera down on something steady (such as the table, or a book, possibly at an angle, if you want a higher angle shot). If posible use a higher resolution on the carea and then crop in an art program. I think MS Paint will do in a pinch, or you could try the GIMP, but I've heard it's a little unstable on windows...

This reminds me, I've still got to post my pics of my semi-built necrons that look more like deformed cybermen, but cost approximately one coctail stick per base...
