I'm just making sure I have this right.

Under the living metal rule it states that

Any Titan Killer attacks are automatically reduced to Titan
Killer (1) when resolving hits against Living Metal units, and Living Metal units are permitted a
single armor save.

Does this mean that a hypothetical necron unit that has living metal but doesn't have reinforced armour gets one save against TK attacks.

The best way to think of it, is that an attack get's knocked down a notch in power.

MW and Lance weapons are treated as normal weapons, and TK weapons are treated as MW attacks.

So, if the Living Metal unit did not have Reinforced Armor, then they would recieve no save at all.

I thought it was that.  However the wording seems to imply that they do.  The table reinforces it.

Prehaps change it so that for TK attacks it says

Save No
RA    Yes
Inv   Yes

Since in the main rulebook, under RA, it says that against MW attacks units with RA keep their RA save and lose their normal save.

well, Living metal doesn't give Reinforced armor to units that don't have it.

fortunately, there aren't any non-RA units that have Living Metal
