As you may have seen Zombocom has stepped down as Necron AC, therefore a replacement is needed - can anybody who is interested please PM me by July 8th. Ongoing tasks for the incoming AC would include the stewardship of the approved Necron 'Raiders' list, development of new lists, continuing the development of other Necron lists and and managing the integration of the traditional and new necron fluff/philosophies+units |

If the EUK list is seemingly ready and preferrable, would it make sense to have the EUK AC as NetEA Necron AC? Saves a lot of searching etc. |

The line between epicuk and netea is already blurred in some cases. I for one would like any and all ACs to be at arms length. Otherwise do away with netea and call it epicuk and be done with it. |

There are 2 candidates who have put there names forward (neither of whom are involved in EUK or E-F as far as I know) |

The Tau are NetEA and were picked up by EUK. So it's a win/loss to my mind <shrug> I really don't think it's a big deal. EUK still do their thing, we do ours. If we meet in the middle sometimes I think that's a good thing. |

I'd rather leave it as an open AC position than give it to somebody who voluntarily resigned. There is a reason he let it go: he doesn't have the time / interest / whatever. The ERC can answer any questions regarding the existing list. If anyone starts getting the development bug, we can talk with that person about taking the position. But I agree that we should leave the existing list alone and build from there. |

Just to confirm; I have no interest in squatting on the position, which is why I stood down. I don't have the time or inclination to do any Necron development; what little epic time I have is devoted to Epic: Hive and the three lists for it. |

I don't think anyone was considering you 'squatting'. Not that I heard, anyway. Regardless, I respect your decision to step down. Filling the position just so we can have a name attached to it is goofy - if somebody gets the Necron bug (no pun intended) they can apply. Until then, the ERC has a Xenos Chair and a back-up to deal with the nominal duties of answering questions. And it's not like you aren't allowed to answer Necron questions after stepping down. |
