I’m starting a necron army and I was wondering how most folks base their wraiths and destroyers. Do you base wraiths single, double or triple? What about destroyers? To help tell the difference between heavy destroyers and non heavies; I thought mounting a single heavy on a square 20mmX20mm and two regulars on a 40mmX10mm would look nice. Is there a problem if I only mount a single heavy destroyer on a base because thier classified as infantry and not a light or armored vehicle?

By the rules Wraiths should be 3 to 7 and Destroyers should be 2 to 4.

Now, if you think something else looks better I wouldn't quibble, it shouldn't affect the game much. Personally I'm planning on basing all my destroyers in pairs, hopefully I'll be able to make the heavies different enough with the guns.

My plan is 3 Wraiths to a base and 1 Destroyers to a base. They might be INF but there the size of other LV's.

I plan on doing 3 wraiths or 2-3 destroyers to a base. Just doing one doesn't really feel all that epic.

I have no wraiths. But I think I'd probably do three on each base.

I've based my destroyers in pairs both heavy and ordinary ones, on coins (25 mm diameter).

Pairs for destroyers is pretty much the norm
