I'm hoping to get a game of EPIC in today, and here's the "Plethora of Pylons" list I intend to use.  Anything anyone things I should change?

Necron Plethora of Pylons -  Playtest 1 – 3000 points

Tomb Complex

Infantry Phalanx 1 – (BTS Goal)
6 Necron Warriors
1 Necron Lord
1 Pariah
2 Tomb Spyders

I would probably actually drop one Pylon and get one more Phalanx. You'd need to nick 25 points from some Phalanx to do that though.

Not a lot of places to free up 25 points in a Necron army!  *laugh*

And is it really Pylon-spam if you don't max out on them?  :laugh:

I'm really waiting to see how that works. List is fine and use what suits your playing style. Hopefully your opponent has some air forces too. :)

I've gotten the opposition list... asked to make a "rulebook Tournament army with some air power", with the NetEA changes, of course... and hinted that I'd really been thinking about the Tyranids lately... *laugh*

I'll post the list in the Battle Reports section and hope the game gets done tonight.

Have you looked at the army in the battle reports section?  It would've been *murder* on Tyranids!
