Anyone have suggestions for proxies or simple modelling projects to build these guys? |

I've come up with my own solution... using the DRM Pax Arcadia Scouts, snipping off the weapon barrel and then painting the cloaks a flesh colour to simulate the skins they wear |

Ah, but what about the Wraiths, PG? As for the Flayed Ones, I never really warmed to the concept of Silence-of-the-Lambs-wannabes, so I just use the Scouts painted as.... Scouts ![]() |

Thinking abou it the EW Zombies might also work: Paint the skin metal color and the clothing flesh color. |

Well, it is more Necron FOOD than actual Necrons. I suppose I can post the info for the curious... Wraiths I find are easy to make with metal sprues and flashing. Take a straight metal sprue and cut it with clippers lengthwise in small increments. On side of the sprue will end up looking like a spine because of how the metal cuts. Trim it and bend it to length, being sensitive to the fact that they break easy. Coat it with thin superglue and let it dry to strengthen it. Take any other piece of metal sprue (the thinner the better) and trim it to look like the shoulder plates. Fashion arms and claws from flashing. Adorn with a Warmaster skull and !viola! you have a wraith. It isn't quick, but it is pretty simple. |
