but those are 1 shot weapons... portal can kill a complete squad on its own, thats why i think it shoujd grant an extra attack to the monolith

hmmmm...Thats a fair enough reason I guess... so 5+ CC or 4+? , and also, dosnt some marines lists have units with actual plasma guns and melta gun stats? (instead of missiles?) thought I saw that some where....

I dont know, I still think giving it a better CC is like giving a basilisk more heavy bolters... it might be useful... at some point... but generaly not...

AH ok i re-read the rules. ALL Models within D6 inch range are affected. So even LESS range than 6" but more models can be destroyed. Ok +1EA is justified but still i propose CC instead of FF.

@Lord Aaron: Plasma CANNONS and MULTI-meltas. yes :D But not mere Plasmaguns and Meltaguns ;)

CC 5+ TK(1) i woud say. So the Monolith player has a tough choice between FF or CC as the Monolith isn't a WE :D

two attacks at 5+ FF or two attacks at 5+ CC with one being a TK...hmm not much of a tough choice I gota say....

ff attack without doubt... portal is a shooting attack in 40k, so it should be a ff attack in epic.... not cc

Lol, no no, the above example is how BL E.G. would work out(one monolith gets 2 FF at 5+ if not in base , or 2 CC at 5+ with one being a TK if it is in base to base)

The current way(0.1) it works out to 3 FF at 5+ with one being MW if in FF, or 1 CC at 6+ if in base to base.

i think the correct way would be leaving the monolith with the same stats that already had in current list and add to it a ff extra attack MW

so 4 FF attacks at 5+ with one being a MW? It seems like a bit much to me, I think any thing above 3 attacks for a non war engine is getting high already but 4!?!??! I think 3s lots (with 1 bring a MW)

Jus a few things I noticed and a few fixes we talked about for 0.2 . Let me know what you guys think.

rename all to Nihilakh type necrons
harbringer barge - add teleport
command barge - figger out how it works with mech formations. add option of adding a lord to command barge upgrade?
immortal - CC 5+ , not 4+
heavy + normal destroyers -... Fit
flayed ones - drop FF to -
praetorians - FF4+ from 3+?meh, drop Inv save, increase to 300p
tomb complex - 0-1 , instead of 0-2

this is our world - clarification- - If it is impossible to place a unit that falls back in a LEGAL position...
following all the regular rules...

monolith being a ff monster sound well, more so if living metal is lost... but that should be tested, 3 extra attacks 1 being MW may be too much

immortal ff 5+?? i think you meant CC 5+...

im not sure about the monolith, lets test it both ways and then decide... it may even work as it was in the old list... we could assume that the portal and the gauss weapons add the +2ff attacks, 1 for the gauss and 1 for the portal. new gauss weapons in the monolith do less shots than the old ones...
