Yes, I agree with the shooting bit, but the one thing that always buged me about necrons in epic was how " we want to shoot the piss out of you" was always interprided as "we can only do that in a FF". I like you list cus it's a bit more shooting and a bit less FF. But then I see things like the snipers with 30cm range but the annihilation barge at 15? I know that this is version .01 so you will be making some changes as you go, but 15cm on a support gun platform?!?!? Come on! Atleast 30!

O and on some of the other guys feedback, I think since this is a new list based off a different codex, not every thing should covert over 100% from the old list. Some units yes, but some units need to be slightly altered. In my oppinion*.

I based the Deathmarks weapon on the Eldar Ranger's Hunting Rifles. Just noticed that these are 36" in Wh40k...remembered them as 24" like the Synaptic Desintegrators.
And Yes...as support gun platform with only 15cm range...perhabs i will increase it to 30 but then the Doom Scythe and Night Scythe use the same weapon. Could be perceived as a problem.

I'm a bit uncertain about using the "Necron" rule from Epic: Raiders or keeping "Ressurection Protocols".
And i forgot that Ghost Arks help in resurrection, but only for Necron Warriors.

I will change all unit stats of there is the same unit in Epic: Raiders. Cetrainthigns will remain different though. For example a Canoptek Wraith isn't a Necron Wraith and Canoptek Scarabs aren't Necron Scarabs (the former could be represented by models from a certain sea mammal)

i think necron rule should be used just to maintain a coherency between lists, same with unit stats.
ghost arks could have the leader ability to help in resurrections, just as spiders have in the other list.

Water Mammals make Hover Roombas as well, though they're not used independantly in the old Necron list.

I'm going to have a go at the new style necron list , going threw most of the stats and generaly leaving current thing current with any changes being very minor. I should have a 0.1 list together some time mid next week as I have a tenetitive game against some marines tuesday or wensday. If I think it(my list) looks like it might get off the ground(in my own oppinion) Ill do up a battle report. maybe be it will help inspire some foks!

hope the new discussion thread helps with your inspiration, sautekh army should be the new necrons core list... so lots of inspiration, work and testing is needed

I'm keeping an eye on this and the other new codex style lists, and will be making suggestions in due course.
