I have returned to the land of the Unliving, having finished (mostly) my relocation to Baltimore MD. :zzz:

I make my own Barbeque anyway (I used to do it for a living anyway), and being in Baltimore get's me away from the hell hole that is Memphis.

No mayor here claiming he's been put in place by God, and telling people that to defy him is to defy God.

I think I've gotten the better of the deal.

Welcome to the least coast.  Up here in Jersey, Corey (we met in Memphis a few months back).  It's a bit of a drive but you never know.  Might be able to get a game in here or there.  I hit Baltimore 1-2 times a year for business.  Not above taking an army down with me.

Glad you are alive, although you may long for the days of that slow southern lifestyle after a few months out here. :80:

so far I've found the people to be more polite, the driver's less insane, and most people actually speak English without mangling it.

One thing I decided long ago is that no matter where you go on the entire planet, people make really good stuff to eat.

Corey:  You should look up some of the Ironhands guys.  Several play epic and my understanding is that they live mostly in the Baltimore/DC corridor.  They are primarily 40K players, but they run regular events and could help out with planning an Epic event or just recruiting Epic players.  

Also, Utopia 27 is in that area and Allen McCarley (the E40K Q&A guy) lives just north of DC, iirc.  If you talk to Allen tell him I said Hi.  We used to play E40K back when he was working on his doctorate.

I'm not saying that it's all good food, just that good food is obtainable in any culture.  I'd be willing to wager that someone in Bangladesh makes really good food that is characteristically Bangladeshi.

Best place is one that serves English Indian cusine, and all the resturants serve Chinese, Thia or south Indian foods.
