Nick Kyme's inadequecies as a writer (even compared to other BL writers, I mean) aside, here is the only passage that describes the Gauss-Obliterator in any detail:
Fall of Damnos, p281, ph4 wrote:
Rows of Pylons, once held in stasis and now dredged from the very earth, stood along static gauss siege-cannons. The latter were long, multi-barrelled monstrosities. Their flanks were wrought from the living metal of the necrontyr and pulsed fluidly on the half-light... Where the Pylons fed continuous beams into the heavens, the siege-cannons throbbed with the drumming staccato of their salvos.
Fortunately that's all of the writing I'll subject you to, but it begins to show Kymes's unnatural attraction to hyphens that has probably left him blind. One of the major story arcs is left curiously unresolved, as well. I'd recommend not spending your own money on this one unless you have a great urge to learn more about the 'crons, and no suckers living nearby.
