I managed to get a few things finished off over the last few days.

A crashed Thunderhawk objective.

And a little bit of fun, a SoulGrinder.

Yes I am in love with Otterware goodies!
I also used a Reaper Warlord, Demon Warrior, Darkspawn Adept to make the body of this beastie (there's no way I would attempt to green stuff something like this... I just don't have the skill).

Cheers.

Tons of wicked cool stuff here! Do you think I could see some close ups of the imperetor? I just got mine in the mail earlier this week and want to see how you did yours up!

The soul grinder looks fantastic! (As does all your work).

I am so keen on getting a game in against your Chaos some time.  Hopefully I will be down some time soon.  If not I will be spending a couple of evenings in Perth either side of a trip to Albany in late march  :p .

Simply amazing armies, Onyx. I love your IW Transport. In fact, I voted for it in the competition. Great concept, fabulous execution.

Bravo on the Soulgrinder!...well and the rest of your awesome armies as well. I love the consistency in your armies and given all the great terrain you have available, makes your games quite the spectacle.

Alas, if Texas were not so distant... :)

Cheers guys.

TheDean - There are more photos of my Imperator (and all my stuff) on my Blog. Hope that helps.

Apocolocyntosis - I don't have a clue how to make a cast of something like this  :;): .My guess is it would need to be dissassembled and I don't fancy that! Judging by your amazing creations, yours will look much more like the real thing than mine  :D .

frogbear - Here is a LINK to the Reaper Demon (as mentioned previously) I used for this.

Mark - I'd love to put a game on for ya when you're next down (always a pleasure mate). Unfortunately, I can't use my Chaos guys yet as the army is newhere near complete. I'm trying to take them slowly and put a bit of effort into them.
I'm sure I've got something here for you to play against.

fredmans - Thanks for that mate  :agree: .

Honda - Cheers mate. If you ever find youself in this part of the world, you are always welcome here.

Holmelund -  :grinning:

What we need is some form long term motivation plan to finish some of our projects.  I am thinking in particular of my 1:300 fully modelled military port table, your chaos army and one of my armies that need finishing.  Say if we were to take the kids up to Shark Bay/Monkey Mia to see the dolphins on one of the holidays with a night in Gerro on your way up and back to fit in an ultra cool looking Epic game :).

All looking great man, I've not looked through this blog in a while and the work is still top notch :-)
Whereabouts in Oz are you exactly? I'm working in Brisbane for six months soon and it would be amazing to see some of this stuff for real!

Mark - Sounds like a lovely plan!
Unfortunately, my health has other plans for the present
Just spent 3 days in Fremantle hospital... again (bloody Crohn's Disease).

MoK - Unfortunately, I'm about as far away from Brisbane as you can get in Australia...
We're in Perth, Western Australia (one of the most isolated capital cities in the world). If you make it over this way whilst you're down under, give me a shout. You'd be most welcome.

Cheers.

Steve,

I hope you make a speedy recovery mate, we all look forward to seeing your work on here. I am alot closer now, back in the NT. Thinking of making my way down to Perth throughout the year. If so I will pack an army and we can get a game in. If not deffinately doing Margaret River for Christmas this year so will catch up then.

Take care
Aaron

I've finally got round to painting up a couple of test minis for my Iron Warriors army.

Image

I wanted to use octagonal bases (8 sided) to try and keep a theme with the Chaos 8 pointed emblem (the bases were custom made by Likto). More photos as I get them painted.

Cheers.
