Okay, I've had a go at a Decimator - I stuck fairly closely to my original design, and I've used a (very heavily!) converted Macharius hull, because it was just right for the off-centre cannon. Photos aren't brilliant, but the light's really weird here today (global warming ??? )

I think it looks a bit like a Stormhammer and a Vindicator had a son, but I still like it... And in the game rules, it's exactly the kind of tank I always hoped the Baneblade would be, but isn't. So I'm going to do a Black Legion army now.

What do you think of it?
Regards,
Reaver

Looks great
If I have to be a bit critical though I think the sponson turrets look a bit wobbly. maybe straighten them out slightly? However that could also just be the angle of the pic.
Regardless I really like this model. Beautiful :;):

Looks extremely good.  I especially like how the tracks turned out.

The detailing on top really gives it that "steam punk" look.

With Reaver around, (as L4 would say) who needs GW?

The drawing has a larger turret structure that I think would look nice in the cast version.

Nice shape and the treads look good.

Awesome. ?Nice Chaos feel to it too without resorting to spikes n' skulls.....though a couple of skulls or maybe an Undivided symbol on the dozer blade would look cool :)

Ah, but once the man is set in motion, he has produced 2 high quality units in a very short time

And it isn't as though it was his responsibility to do so.  This is a labor of love.

As for the Gorgon, I have no plans for a DKOK army, but I'd be all over that!

That's a neat model, Reaver, well done!  I must admit that it doesn't fit with my mental image of a Decimator - but a copious amount of spikes & skulls could change that... :blues: :;):

Very nice, I almost feel that I should be buying shares in resin supply companies. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

I left off spikes and skulls, because some people like them and others don't - so I thought people might want to add their own.
As for the turret, I can try adding one and see what it looks like, I'll get back to you!
I'll do some size comparison pictures later, and maybe set up a webpage with some decent pics if possible.

I've thought about doing a Gorgon, but I know E+C has one in progress, and didn't want to tread on any toes...  Hows it going, E+C? Any chance of an update?

Regards,
Reaver
