Here's an idea for a community project:
Once every year I pull out all my miniatures and arrange them for a photoshoot. This excersise is mainly meant to discourage me from purchasing any new miniatures
However this year it got me thinking:
Wouldn't it be cool to have a showcase thread where all TacCom members can post a single group shot of their armies? I bet it would look mighty impressive to have all the Ork armies for example gathered in one place. Might alsomake a good reference thread I think.
So to kick this off we begin with the Orks.
The rules are simple:
1: Gather all your Ork miniatures. They do not have to be completely painted but infantry do need to be based and multi part models need to be assembled.
2: Arrange them on a table. Gaming table, kitchen table, whatever...
3: Snap a single pic of the entire army. No individual close ups or detail shots. We're after the mass effect here.
Later on I figure it'd be fun to have threads such as this one for every single race out there. If you've got a group pic of another army than orks you should start a new thread like this one. I figured it'd be simpler to keep each thread race specific.
Anyway: Here's my Ork army:
Da Boyz need some reinfurshm... reinfoose... sum more ladz to help dem out against dem pansy humies. Get those Ork armies out and post some more group shots
