I'm thinking of doing a Macharius tank for E:A. Problem is, I've no Imperial Guard tanks to compare it to for the size.
I'm guessing it would be slightly larger than a current SG Land Raider. What do you think?
Here's a pic from the FW website for comparison:

Comparing the size of an Epic scale FW Baneblade and Landraider I'd say the Macharius is somewhere in the middle between the two.
As noted elsewhere I think I'm going to use an EW Enforcer as the basis for my own conversion.

My idea is to make the Gorgon first, attempt (And fail) to cast it, and make a Macharius variant based off of the same hull too.

I love the look of that Gorgon E&C. The track units in particular are really nice- are they scratch built?
Im looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

Yep my Gorgon is 100% scratch built, no genuine miniature components used to date.

I'm still struggling to work out how big a Macharius should be. I don't have any Imp Guard stuff to compare it to ( so I'm an SM player - sue me! ).
So I've taken a pic of my Basic Block of Sculpey next to a current SG Land Raider. Does this look about the right size? Regards, Reaver

Okay, I'm suddenly panicking about sizes!
You know I'm sculpting a Macharius, well I'm worried that it's too big...
I just got my first IG tanks off eBay today, and they look at bit small next to it. They are some first generation super-heavies, Shadowsword, Baneblade etc. Problem is, the Baneblade is only 1mm longer than a current SG Land Raider! (37mm long). My Macharius is 45mm long!
Can someone please tell me the later Superheavies, or the ForgeWorld ones are longer? And if you've got measurements, too, that would be even better.
I really don't want to have to start over again if I can avoid it...
Regards, Reaver

My forge superheavy is 46mm long and 36mm wide at the sponsons (30mm at the hull)
I have a Stormsword in front of me... I'm getting:
44mm long (Tracks only) 48mm long (extremities) 27mm wide (tracks only) 28mm wide (hull) 36mm wide (sponsons) 18mm height
My scratchbuild Gorgon (Macharius hull) is:
41mm long (tracks) 26mm wide (tracks)
