Hi all,
what I'm currently calling my last new army has begun to arrive at the shores of the island. Thanks to Heresiarch, I've just added to a very miserly force the following:

2 Harridans (Epic 40K, not FW)
1 blister of Zoanthropes
1 blister of Carnifices
1 blister of Exocrines
1 blister of Haruspex
2 blisters of Malefactors
4(!) blisters of Dactylis, which is probably my favourite Niddy beast.

:) :)

If I ever manage to decide which of 4 different chemes to use, my Chaos advance might be jeopardised.

ANd, for a change, very few conversions - I feel less comfortable messing about with organics. Yuck!  :p

PS - anyone remember where the Nid 'tank' army list is (unless it's a figment of my imagination)? Thanks  :D

Hi all,
here's my first new Nid - an Exocrine. I'm going through a green phase at the moment, so pardon me if it looks caouflaged as a Sherman tank. At least I refrained from adding transfers with nationality markings or numbers to it....  :p

Exocrine and friends. Three different beasties in the same colour scheme. Ex, a Blood Axe Ork tank (conversion by Krooza), and a shoebox Vindicator. The latter is in the colours of:
the Red Giant Space Marine armoured squadrons
the 10th Nondescriptian Guard army
the 4th Legion Armoured Support Group
the Blood Axes
and
the BEF*
It's called multi-tasking.

*British Expeditionary Force - originally intended for Mars, and variously named Marshall's Martial Martians or more simpley, the Space Marines (seeing they were troops fighting on, or landing from, ships). This vehicle is HMS Vindicator, lead 'ship' of her class of Land Ironclads in support of the troops (2mm scale in this case  :p ). The BEF was diverted from the Martian operation to more pressing needs arising from the Mediterranean situation. The troops would have been surprised to learn that the same vehicles were still being used 40,000 years later, by units bearing one of their names...

:p

Sounds like a busy time for the Nids, what with all the new Nid threads around the place. My original Nid army consisted of 2 Biotitans, a Dominatrix, a few tank-sized beasties and Carnifices, and one box of troops (5 sprues). The first reinforcement load contained a pile of biotanks; the second, which has just arrived, included 4 Biotitans (yay! :) :) ), 11 troop sprues and a pile of assorted troop bases. :)
