I spent lots of time painting Epic stuff last year but didn't really have any new playable armies for my troubles. ?So the goal this year was to paint up a viable 4k force, play with it, and move on to the next.

First for this year, the Iron Warriors:



Played a 3K skirmish and got smacked by some Orks, but a 4K rematch saw the new Bike Company earn its' stripes and beat back the Green tide. ?Future acquisitions...need another Legion Century, and a Dreadclaw Assault Shuttle would probably come in handy. ?Will build the Leviathan if it gets added to the army list too :)

Second one, the True Slann:



Yeah, ok this one was easy. ?It is an interesting army to play though, and dspite narrowly besting the 'Nids in their first outing they definitely needed a tweak, so I've just added a Spawn Guard company. ?Some Dracon allies are about the only thing planned here.

Next one up: Hordes of Evil



My first attempt at a proxy heavy army, though it got overtaken by the Slann. ?I use IG Roughies and World Eaters to sub in for some of the units, but I can do 4K with what's in the pic and have change. ?

And fresh off the coals: ?The Squats



The not so lean, but quite mean, green machine. ?I need to do another Cyclops so I can take a Doom Anvil Company. ?I'd also love to do a Termite Company but I don't know where I'd get all those Berserkers. ?Hopefully EW will come through with a nice proxy. ?:D
