Do you have any variant Marine vehicles painted up?

I'm looking for examples (preferably on a white background) of stuff like the Crusader, Damocles, Promethius etc.

Cheers.

I'm only looking for Codex / Imperial Armour vehicles, sorry. :)

Good lord, did you use precious Ordinatus missile racks for that?

Or, I should say, good lord, you used precious Ordinatus missile racks for that!

Aren't those from Cyclops? Pretty rare those as well I think...

Edit: Yep from Cyclops

And Hena wins :)
I dislike the missile racks as fitted to the Cyclops; I prefer it with just the BIG gun and the smaller turret. I also removed the two - what were they, flamer type weapons?
Bad me

And - sorry E&C, my bad.

With that scaffolding, I could have sworn they were Ordinatus. Ah well, point for Hena!

I'm still looking for some pictures of the missing variant vehicles, so I can finish this:

The 'Full Codex' Marine list.

Once I have all the nessesary pictures, I thought I'd submit it to Fanatic Online, as I think was our plan a few months back until it got sidelined*.

EDIT:

Also, any thoughts on the Hellstrike missile stats?
I put this upgrade in because Warwick Kinrade keeps referring to it in Imperial Armour 3's Epic scenarios, despite the fact that no such upgrade exists. :D

EDIT2:

Also, any new thoughts on the stats we came up with?
I think the Land Raider Prometheus could probably have a bump to FF3+

* Probably by an argument about whether Predators should be dropped by 25 points, or up-armoured instead. :)

Ha, I'm doing something similar, but in two havles (now you know why i was asking those questions about pdf makers!)!

I don't agree with a 'full' codex list. Rather I prefer a aerospace one (orbital support availible) and planetside one (no orbital support availible) as this is the big factor affecting formations. This is my current planetside list (I have cut all the text and images out to upload it).

Your stats wise,

Helios - tested by several people at FF5+ and 50 points per upgrade. Seems to work. most formations only want to add one anyway for anti infantry/light vehicle horde work.

Crusader - similar stats to what I've tried, except I kept with CC6+ (figuring the contents could help with CC), I see how CC5+ could work though. I do think the MM should remain the standard Multi melta, instead I went for the hurricane bolers giving 1 extra attack each. Exactly the same end result as you, however all done with 1 less new weapon. Cost of 100 points each for infantry, 125 for terminators and land raider formations as they are simply worth more here. - But this was based on the crusader having a greater transport capacity. Am I wrong in thinking it could carry 3 tac stands or 2 terminator stands?

Prometheus wise I didn't know the prometheus has a whirlwind launcher :) I gave it supreme commander because it well is (or at least is used as such by the supreme commander). It has worked fine with SC and FF4+ for 125 points.

MM Dred - the drop in range is deadly. FF can stay at 4+ as its really almost a one shot air drop weapon.

Venerable dred - unnessecery, simply add leader to a normal drednaught!

Damocles -  unnessecery, simply add leader to a normal rhino!

Thunderhawks. I think they split into three types.
1 - Regular thunderhawk. Battlecannon, carries troops etc.
2 - Tactical Bomber. Turbolaser, bombs etc. No transport capacity.
3 - Interceptor. No transport ability, can't perform CAP.
The last one? Its based on the old soviet foxbat airplane and the fighter ability in BFG. In essence a thunderhawk has engines that can get it into orbit. Target comes, hit the burners, close quickly for a shot using traversing mounts to compensate for enemy manoverability.

We must get one of these.....    :confuse:  :blues:  :O

Aye well, there's nothing wrong with trying.

In a 'no air-support' list, presumably you'd change organisations & probably make a unit or two cheaper here and there.

You are correct, I am wrong.

3 - Interceptor. No transport ability, can't perform CAP.

I'm not really interested in inventing my own types of aircraft when there's already so much missing from the list.

I agree that such a craft could have a niche in a marine list *Although IIRC a Thunderhawk in Aeronautica manuevers in a manner similar to a brick with retro rockets*, this is meant as a 'full codex' list, not particularly biased towards any one mode of combat.

Replace Battlecannon with Turbolaser 45cm 2xAP5+/AT3+ and bombs with 2x Hellstrikes 45cm AT4+ for +50 points.

Didn't the aircraft go for refit after a turn? At least with that in mind one shot doesn't really work in a logical way. Also I think that regular T'hawk should not get these, but a version that's armed not for transport but attack runs. Such as the T'hawk bomber I've put in the Armoured list.

As this is meant as a 'full codex' list I'm trying to stay codex-accurate, so basically, if you equip your Thunderhawk with bombs, it still retains its transport capacity, as that's what happens in the fluff & 40k rules.

Which reminds me, next version will have a bomb upgrade as an alternative to teh Hellstrikes.

Oh and:

Didn't the aircraft go for refit after a turn?

If each turn if Epic is 15 minutes, then that's an emphatic no.

Also I think I disagree with you on the Transporter but, that's life.

I'll check out your version and post comments.
